29 Pittenweem Road
I am on the right hand side of Pittenweem Road when travelling from Pittenweem to Anstruther, past the road down to the golf course and the pedestrian crossing. I have a green front door and a big tree in the front garden. The entrance to my studio is via the side door to the left of the house – which might be hidden by our bright yellow VW camper van in the driveway. Parking is available in the lay-by directly opposite the house.
I recycle pre-loved fabrics into something new – inspired by the story, texture, colour and pattern of the material I am using. I have a wonderful stash of treasured textiles in my workshop from which I design creatures of all varieties – be it Scottish, mythical or wild. The list of creatures to be made is endless and I take great delight in making each and every one. I often do commissions of pets, in particular dogs and cats, although I have even been known to make a gecko!
