Pittenweem is famous for its ten day long arts festival, normally held in August, which this year, like so many events, is unfortunately a casualty of the Covid pandemic.
The Pittenweem Festival attracts artists from far and wide, including ENOS artists from neighbouring villages, but there is also a strong permanently resident artistic community in Pittenweem, which when viruses don’t get in the way, makes the village a cultural hot spot with several galleries and artworks available throughout the year..
