Originally from St. Albans, in Hertfordshire, Dan made the move to Fife around ten years ago. He has always had a passion for painting, capturing many local landscapes in acrylic. Dan’s bold use of colour is one of his trademarks. Over the years, Dan has been lucky enough to have sold paintings all around the world.
More recently Dan has been experimenting with clay sculpture, creating semi abstract figurines, in various poses. He sometimes incorporates beach combed objects, such as sea glass, driftwood and pebbles. These have been received well, and Dan is enjoying working on them, as well as his paintings.
Dan is also a published author, with three best-selling novels to his name. See more of Dan’s art at www.danscottow.com
