Sue Milne

From drawing to photography and more recently painting, Sue looks for shapes, patterns and colours mainly in the natural world. She uses watercolour, pastels, acrylic, inks and collage to portray scenes derived from moments observed and captured by camera. This may be the contrasting colours of walls, doors and windows; the juxtaposition of different colours and shades of flowers; patterns in sand or dew on a spider’s web. More recently Sue has been drawn to the constantly changing sunrises over the Bass Rock encountered on her morning dog walks. She is continually developing her work by regularly attending art classes and workshops and especially enjoys the challenges of life drawing.
