I graduated from Grays School of Art, Aberdeen, in 1991, Fine Arts in printmaking. I ran a gallery and print workshop in Aberdeenshire for many years before moving down to Fife. I started painting more after retiring, working mainly in watercolour, which is my first love, but also in acrylics, oils, pastels and mixed media. I love intense colour, mark-making, pattern and texture. Still-life is a favourite but landscape drawing and painting, capturing atmosphere and experiences that stimulate the senses.
