Born in London, Fiona grew up in Renfrewshire, before graduating with a first class honours in textile design from the Scottish College of Textiles in Galashiels.
She has spent most of her adult life working in the textile and fashion industry as a designer and buyer, both in the UK and abroad. Fiona returned to Scotland in 2005 and established a business support incubator for fashion designers in Scotland. She continues to mentor and coach creatives working in art and design across the UK.
Fiona recently reconnected with her love of painting and creativity since moving to St Monans in the East Neuk of Fife in 2020. Nature has always been a source of inspiration for her work. She enjoys exploring the diverse nature of the wonderful sea and landscapes of the East Coast of Fife.
Her work is developing as she explores different techniques and connects with other artists & creatives in the locality. She has recently established Netloft Studio which is a platform to connect with other artists and creatives to support opportunities for collaboration and connection.
